מדע הרפואה ומדעי הרוח חולקים עניין משותף – האדם. ההבדל הבסיסי והמהותי הוא באופני החקירה ואלו מובילים לעתים למסקנות שונות ולעתים לדומות. בסדרת ההרצאות נבחן כיצד שני התחומים מתמודדים עם סוגיות ובעיות שונות והאם המסקנות דומות וכיצד השוני, ככל שקיים, יכול לתרום לתוצאות מחקר עשירות יותר, יעילות יותר ומדוייקות יותר.
