Interdisciplinary Colloquium in Medicine & Humanties

Chairs

  • Karen Avraham,  Ph.D., Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University

  • Noam Shomron, Ph.D., Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University

  • Galit Wellner, Ph.D., Faculty of Humanities, Tel Aviv University

About the Colloquium

Medicine and Humanities share a common research subject - The human being. The basic and fundamental differences are related to methodologies and research strategies that may either lead to similar or to very different conclusions. The colloquium examines how both disciplines deal with various issues, inquires about similarities of conclusions, and wonders about ways in

which cross-disciplinary differences may enrich and increase the accuracy of research outcome.

Meetings

The colloquium meets every month during the semester
